Additionally, access to the gift list is controlled by the user that created the gift list. The computing device is further configured in such a way as to add a reference to an item to the gift list while the user browses the items available for purchase.

摘要： Systems and methods are provided for electronically managing items in a wish list. In some embodiments, order information associated with an order of one or more items may be received. The order may be associated with a purchasing customer, and may indicate that the purchasing customer is purchasing the one or more items of the order. One or more wish lists that were presented to the purchasing customer prior to receiving the order may be determined. For each of the one or more wish lists that were presented to the purchasing customer, it may be determined whether at least one of the items of the order is referenced in the wish list. The reference to the ordered item may then be removed from at least one of the wish lists.
