摘要： It is presented a method executed in a streaming media receiver, the streaming media receiver comprising native software and web software for executing a web application. The method comprising the steps of: receiving, in an active web application running in the web software, a message indicating that the streaming media receiver is to be put in a passive standby mode; sending, from the active web application, a message to the native software indicating when the active web application is to be reinstated; setting, from the native software, a timer with the time of when the web application is to be reinstated; setting the streaming media receiver in a passive standby mode; receiving, in the native software, a signal that the timer has expired; setting the streaming media receiver in an active standby mode; and sending, from the native software, a message to the web application that the timer has expired.

The IPTV applications (54) are invokable at a set top box (50) and can be so-called embedded applications and/or browser-based applications. An event requiring the invocation of an IPTV application (54) at the set top box (50) is detected and triggers a look-up in the registration table (170). 摘要： Methods and apparatuses in a user equipment (300) and a control server (302) for enabling resumption of a paused media information stream sent in a live broadcast (3:1) of a TV program. When a user has paused (3:2) the broadcasted media in formation stream, the user equipment sends to the control server a request message (3:4) comprising an indicator of the time of pause. The control server then calculates (3:5) an offset value indicating a pause point in the media information stream where the pause occurred, based on the received indicator. The control server sends an answer message (3:6) comprising a file location address of a recorded version of the TV program and the calculated offset value, to the user equipment. The user equipment can then resume the media information stream (3:7, 3:8) from said pause point based on the received file location address and offset value. Thereby, any gap or jump in the resumed TV program due to inaccurate offset can be minimised or avoided.

Based on the response it then disrupts sending invitation messages (12) and initiates involvement of the group related device (22) in the communication session. The end user terminal (16) receives the invitation message (I2), receives a user selection of the group related device (22) and sends the response (R) addressed to the communication session control device (10).
