The surface heating type heating unit includes a planar heating element on an outer circumferential surface of a supporter having cylindrical shape, a power feeding terminal at each end of the supporter, and a connector disposed between the planar heating element and the power feeding terminal. The connector is formed on a first region on the power feeding terminal, and includes an adhesive material for adhering the planar heating element and the power feeding terminal, and a conductive material formed on a second region of the power feeding terminal excluding the first region.

摘要： An image fusing apparatus includes a heating belt including a resistance heating layer, an insulating layer formed on an inner surface of the resistance heating layer, and a release layer formed on an outer surface of the resistance heating layer; a heating supporting roller disposed (positioned) inside the heating belt and rotating with the heating belt; a pressing roller disposed (positioned) parallel to the heating supporting roller and in contact with the outer surface of the heating belt to form a nip; and an electricity supplying member to supply electricity to the resistance heating layer of the heating belt. A thickness of paper non-contact areas of opposite side end portions of the resistance heating layer of the heating belt is the same as or thicker than the thickness of a paper contact area of a middle portion of the resistance heating layer thereof.

The print head driving apparatus includes a selecting unit to selectively drive a plurality of nozzles in the print head, a primitive signal receiving unit to receive a serial primitive signal to select a primitive group from among a plurality of n primitive groups each containing a plurality of m nozzles capable of ejecting ink from the print head during a given print cycle, to convert the serial primitive signal to a parallel primitive signal, and to provide the parallel primitive signal to the selecting unit, and an address signal receiving unit to receive a serial address signal to select at least one nozzle through which ink should be ejected in the selected primitive group, to convert the serial address signal to a parallel address signal, and to provide the parallel address signal to the selecting unit, wherein the primitive signal-receiving unit includes n 1-bit shift registers serially connected to each other, and each of the n 1-bit shift registers corresponds to a respective one of the plurality of n primitive groups. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a number of wires required to transfer selection signals on a semiconductor circuit board in which the print head driving apparatus is implemented, thereby achieving a high-density layout of the semiconductor circuit board.

摘要： An inkjet printer head includes a substrate having an ink-feed hole to supply ink stored in a cartridge to an ink chamber and a restrictor in fluid communication with the ink chamber, an oxide layer formed on the substrate, a heater disposed on the oxide layer above the restrictor and having fixed parts disposed on the oxide layer, slopes extending upward and away from the restrictor at an incline, and a parallel part extending between the slopes parallel to the substrate, a lead formed to be in electrical contact with the heater, a chamber layer formed to cover the lead and to define the ink chamber, and a nozzle layer formed on the chamber layer and having a nozzle. In the inkjet printer head, the lifespan of the heater may be extended since the heater is supported by the slopes, which function as a shock absorbing member when ink supply pressure or cavitation force is applied to a surface of the heater. In addition, since the heater does not have a right angle structure, the heater may be formed to have a uniform thickness even when a thin layer used for the heater is formed by a deposition method.

摘要： An ink-jet printer includes a nozzle driving unit selectively driving a plurality nozzles to discharge ink through the nozzles, a signal supply supplying a driving signal to the nozzle driving unit, a shift register storing a nozzle selection signal to select a nozzle after the nozzle selection signal is synchronized with a clock signal, a counter counting an input number of the clock signal and deciding whether to operate the shift register, and a controller inputting a discharge signal into the signal supply to discharge the ink when the shift register is disabled. The counter compares a set-up value set up in accordance with a bit number of the nozzle selection data signal with the input number of the clock signal to disable the shift register. Therefore, noise introduced into the noise selection signal by the discharge signal is eliminated. Thus a malfunction of the head driving device can be prevented.
