摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for verification of a generated route in computer assisted navigation. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for verification of a generated route in computer assisted navigation is provided. The method includes receiving an origin and a destination in a mapping application executing in memory by a processor of a computer and generating a first route in the mapping application from the origin to the destination. The method also includes receiving a waypoint for the first route and determining whether or not the waypoint is proximate to the first route. Finally, the method includes validating the first route only if it is determined that the waypoint is proximate to the first route. In one aspect of the embodiment, the method also can include generating an alternative route to include the waypoint if it is determined that the waypoint is not proximate to the first route.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide a computer implemented method, apparatus and computer readable storage medium to automatically resize view elements in a graphical user interface. The method includes monitoring the graphical user interface. The method also includes responsive to a triggering event, invoking a view optimization program. The method further includes responsive to an invocation of the view optimization program, invoking a window preference program for checking window preferences, a portlet preference program for checking portlet preferences for each portlet, and a portlet priority program for checking portlet priority settings. The method additionally includes invoking an apply program for resizing view elements in the graphical user interface based on the window preferences, the portlet preferences, and the portlet priority settings.

The attendance modification dialog may include a late arrival field and an early departure field. The attendance modification dialog may include a telephone attendance option. The attendance modification dialog may be displayed to the attendee in connection with an event invitation, an event reminder, or a calendar event item. When the attendee completes the modification dialog, a message informing to the event requester of the modification is automatically sent.
