摘要： A semiconductor device may include a semiconductor substrate including an active region defined by a trench, a device isolation layer provided in the trench to surround the active region, a gate electrode extending in a direction crossing the active region, and formed on the active region and the device isolation layer, and a gate insulating layer between the active region and the gate electrode. The active region may have a first conductivity type, and the device isolation layer may include a first silicon oxide layer on an inner surface of the first trench and a different layer, selected from one of first metal oxide layer and a negatively-charged layer, on the first silicon oxide layer.

摘要： A fuel cell stack including membrane-electrode assemblies and separators formed between each of the membrane-electrode assemblies is disclosed. The membrane-electrode assemblies may each include an electrolyte membrane, an anode formed on a first surface of the electrolyte membrane, and a cathode formed on a second surface of the electrolyte membrane. Each of the separators may include an anode separator facing the anode and a cathode separator facing the cathode. Each of the separators may include at least two manifolds, a channel separated from the manifolds and facing either the anode or the cathode, and a connection channel fluidly connecting the manifold and the channel. The separator may also include a buffer protrusion system in the connection channel configured to disperse the flow of the fuel or the oxidant.

摘要： The polymer electrolyte membrane of the present invention includes polymers having a fluoroalkyl group and a proton conductive group. The present invention also provides a membrane-electrode assembly, a fuel cell system including the polymer electrolyte membrane, and a method of making the polymer electrolyte membrane by a chemical grafting method. The amount of the proton conductive groups in the polymer electrolyte membrane can be controlled, the membrane thickness can be easily controlled, adherence between a polymer electrolyte membrane and an electrode is improved due to the fluoroalkyl of the polymer, and long-term stability of a membrane-electrode assembly is improved.

摘要： The provided is a mixed reactant fuel cell system that includes a fuel cell body including a membrane-electrode assembly, a fuel tank, and a fuel pump. The fuel tank stores a mixed fuel including a hydrocarbon-based fuel and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) acts as an oxidant, and has the same effect as an oxygen supplied into the hydrocarbon-based fuel from an oxygen supplier. The fuel pump supplies the mixed fuel into the fuel cell body to generate electricity. An anode included in the membrane-electrode assembly includes a catalyst that selectively activates the oxidation reaction of the hydrocarbon-based fuel. A cathode included in the membrane-electrode assembly includes a catalyst that selectively activates the reduction reaction of the oxidant in the cathode. Therefore, when the mixed fuel is injected into both of the anode and the cathode, only an oxidation reaction of the fuel is carried out in the anode, and only a reduction reaction of the oxidant is carried out in the cathode.
