摘要： The present invention produces affinity ligands that make it possible to increase the purity of antibodies themselves, which is the main purpose of affinity purification, and, further, to improve the selectivity for antibody monomers and thereby reduce the load of removing antibody multimers on downstream purification steps. The present invention provides new affinity ligands which are modified proteins obtained by introducing a mutation into a protein to increase the number of acidic amino acids in the amino acid sequence of the protein; methods for designing the modified proteins; methods for producing the modified proteins; and affinity separation matrices containing the modified proteins as ligands immobilized therein.
