    • A control apparatus controls an inverter (electric power converter circuit) which is connected for selectively applying a plurality of voltage levels to each phase of a polyphase rotary machine. In each of successive control periods, the apparatus determines the inverter operation state (combination of respective voltage levels applied to the phases) to be set for the succeeding control period, by performing prediction calculations based on a model of the rotary machine, for each of a plurality of candidates for the next operation state, to select an optimum candidate. The candidates are restricted to those operation states whereby the voltage level of no more than one of the phases will be changed, at changeover to the operation state of the next control period.

    • In an apparatus, a predicting unit predicts, based on a target value of a drive mode of a power converter at a next timing, a first value of a controlled variable. The drive mode is indicative of a switching-state of each of a plurality of switching elements. The target value of the drive mode of the power converter at the next timing is temporarily set at a present timing prior to the next timing. A driving unit drives the plurality of switching elements based on the target value of the drive mode at the next timing while limiting a number of switching-state changes in the plurality of switching elements from the present timing to the next timing as long as the deviation between the predicted first value of the controlled variable at the further next timing and a command value therefor is within a threshold range.

    • A bladder-type jig which is suitably used for manufacturing a stiffened panel structure using a hat stringer, and improves durability of the jig to enable repeated use of the jig. A body which is a body of a bladder has a hollow pipe-shape inside thereof. One end portion of the body is sealed by a terminal metal member, and the interior of body is in an air-tight condition. An insertion portion of the terminal metal member is inserted into a hollow space of the end portion of the body. A plurality of band-shaped groove portions are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion such that the groove portions are wound around the outer peripheral surface. The band-shaped groove portions form a plurality of annular adhesive layers between the inner surface of the body and the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion. This makes it possible to enhance an adhesive state between the body and the terminal metal member and air tightness in the interior of the body.
