摘要： A terminal fitting 10 having a wire barrel 31 crimping the terminal of an exposed core wire 42 of a coated electric wire 40, an insulation barrel 32 provided in the rear of the wire barrel 31 and fixing the coated electric wire 40, and a coupling portion 33 coupling the wire barrel 31 and the insulation barrel 32 to each other. The coupling portion 33 having a surface coming in contact with the coated electric wire 40 has a lead-in groove 36 to introduce an anti-corrosive agent. The lead-in groove extends in a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the coated electric wire 40 such that at least one of end portions is opened at the side edge of the coupling portion 33.

摘要： A fluorescent lamp is manufactured according to the processes including: arranging a pair of lead wires between a holding block provided with two lead-wire grooves for grasping the pair of lead wires and an auxiliary holding block provided with grooves corresponding to the two-lead wire grooves in such a manner that both end portions of each of the pair of lead wires protrude out of the lead-wire grooves, whereby the pair of lead wires is supported to be sandwiched and to be fixed therebetween; attaching an electrode to tip ends of the protruding lead wires; inserting the lead wires that hold the electrode by grasping the same and protrude out of the holding block into an end portion of a glass tube; applying heat in the vicinity of the end portion of the glass tube so as to pinch-seal the lead wires; and detaching the holding block and the auxiliary holding block. Only the electrode is present between the lead wires, and therefore a simple, reliable and stable method for manufacturing a fluorescent lamp can be provided.

摘要： An aluminum electric wire (10) has a metallic core wire (11) coated with an insulation coating (13). A female terminal fitting (20) made of metal different from the core wire (11) has a wire barrel (25) to be connected to the aluminum electric wire (10). A solder seal (30) is formed of solder having a main component with an ionizing tendency close to that of the terminal fitting. The wire barrel (25) is crimped to the core wire (11) exposed by peeling off the insulation coating (13) of the aluminum electric wire (10) and partially sealed with the solder. A seal connection portion (14) connects the insulation coating (13), the exposed core wire (11) and the solder seal (30) to each other in a condition where the coating (13) and the solder seal (30) are sealed off from each other.
