摘要： A mobile application executable on at least one mobile device for associating actions with a plurality of independent geographic locations and a system for implementing the actions are provided. The system and mobile application carry out a method including the steps of configuring a graphical user interface to include a map and requesting the user to select a designated pin location. The system includes a main controller configured to communicate with the at least one mobile device and initiate the actions based on the location of the at least one mobile device relative to the plurality of independent geographic locations. At least one database is in communication with the main controller and accessible to the mobile and away services module for storing data related to the actions associated with the plurality of independent geographic locations and the at least one mobile device.

摘要： A demand response system includes a mobile application of a mobile device that is configured to initiate altering an operating condition of a network device disposed at a site using location based services. A demand response application interface module is configured to enable access between a utility company and the network device to communicate energy management information therebetween. The network device is configured to be remotely altered by each of the demand response application interface module and the mobile application separately based on the location based services and the energy management information. A method of managing a demand response system includes detecting a user being disposed away from a site, detecting energy management information from a utility company associated with the site, and initiating a reduction in energy use at the site in response to the relative location of the user and the energy management information.

摘要： An apparatus includes a housing including an LCD screen capable of displaying settings information and an energy savings settings icon, and a processor configured to detect multiple inputs with the housing including settings information provided by a user in response to an interaction with the housing. The processor is further configured to initiate a suggestion of a setting resulting in a display of the energy savings settings icon, and process the multiple inputs and determine a schedule and determine whether to display the energy savings settings icon based on the determined schedule. A wireless communication module is configured to access a hosted web service and a mobile device, each of which receive multiple inputs such that the settings information can be provided remotely. The multiple inputs include detecting a presence in proximity to the housing over a period of time and providing a presence status to determine the settings information.

The housing also has an interior portion and an opening formed therein to allow wires from the wall to pass therethrough for communication with the interior housing. The opening has a center point. At least one terminal block may be disposed in the interior portion of the housing and includes a plurality of terminals that are configured to engage a wire to form an electrical connection. Each of the plurality of terminals can be located equidistant from a point within the opening such that the lengths of wire in the housing are reduced.

A resource management platform can include an interface configured to communicate media management information and energy management information. The processor can further be configured to initiate an output of media content in response to detecting media management information, and initiate altering an operating status of a device in response to detecting the energy management information.
