    • A communication device includes an antenna structure, wherein the antenna structure includes a ground element and an antenna element. One edge of the ground element has a notch, and the notch is extended into the interior of the ground element to form a slot region. The slot region is substantially extended along the edge of the ground element. The antenna element includes a first radiating portion and a second radiating portion. The first radiating portion is disposed in the slot region and is excited to form at least a resonant mode in the first operating band of the antenna element. The second radiating portion is an open-slot antenna and is formed by the slot region. The second radiating portion is excited to form a resonant mode in the second operating band of the antenna element.

The grounding element includes a main ground and a protruded ground being connected to an edge of the main ground. Antenna element includes a feeding portion and a radiating portion. The feeding portion includes a feeding point, a first strip and a second strip. The first strip and the second strip are both connected to the feeding point. The radiating portion includes a first open end, a second open end and a shorting point which is connected to the protruded ground by a short-circuiting strip. There is a first coupling gap between the first strip and a first section of the radiating portion having the first open end. There is a second coupling gap between the second strip and a second section of the radiating portion having the second open end.

    • A mobile communication device and an antenna structure are provided. The mobile communication device includes an antenna structure having a dielectric substrate and an antenna. The dielectric substrate comprises a ground portion, a first non-ground portion, and a second non-ground portion. The ground portion further includes a main ground and a protruded ground. The protruded ground is electrically connected to the main ground and extends between the first non-ground portion and the second non-ground portion, such that the first non-ground portion and the second non-ground portion are separated by the protruded ground. One edge of the protruded ground aligns with one edge of the dielectric substrate. The antenna is a planar structure located on the dielectric substrate. The antenna includes a feeding portion and a radiating portion. The feeding portion is located in the first non-ground portion. The radiating portion extends over the protruded ground, and has a first end located in the first non-ground portion and electrically connected to the main ground, and a second end of the radiating portion is located in the second non-ground portion and electrically connected to the main ground. There is a coupling gap between the radiating portion and the feeding portion in the first non-ground portion, and the radiating portion is excited by the capacitive coupling effect from the feeding portion.

    • A monopole slot antenna applicable to a mobile communication device includes a dielectric substrate, a first ground plane, a second ground plane, a monopole slot, and a microstrip feedline.     • The present invention is related to a mobile communication device comprising a ground plane and an antenna. The antenna is disposed on one surface of a dielectric substrate. The antenna comprises a first radiating metal portion and a second radiating metal portion. The first radiating metal portion has at least one bending. One end of the first radiating metal portion is a feeding point of the antenna and the other end is left open. One end of the second radiating metal portion is short-circuited to the ground plane, and the other end is left open. A length of the second radiating metal portion is 0.75 to 1.25 times that of the first radiating metal portion. At least a portion of the second radiating metal portion is extended along the first radiating metal portion with a gap of less than a specified distance therebetween.
