摘要： An annealed amorphous metallic transformer core comprising a plurality of amorphous metallic strip packets. The plurality of amorphous metallic strip packets are shaped into a metallic transformer core. The metallic transformer core comprises a back of said core, and an overlap or front of said core. A first leg of the amorphous core extends from the back of the core to the front of the core. A second leg of the amorphous core extends from the back of the core to the front of the core. A first cap is provided along at least a portion of the first leg of the amorphous core, the cap providing straightness and/or rigidity along with dimensional thickness tolerance to the plurality of amorphous metallic strip packets contained within the leg and or back of the amorphous core.
