摘要： A filter insert piece has a filter element with first and second pleated sections each having parallel pleats. The first and second pleated sections each have an inflow side. A first flat outflow side of the first pleated section and a second flat outflow side of the second pleated section adjoin a common clean chamber of the filter element. A length of the pleats of the first and second pleated sections is such that a spacing of an outwardly positioned pleat end face of the pleats at the first or second inflow side, respectively, relative to the center axis increases or decreases monotonic from pleat to pleat. The respective end pleats of the first and of the second pleated sections have a different length extension measured from the outwardly positioned pleat end face of the first end pleats or the second end pleats relative to the center axis.

摘要： A blood filtering device has a filtration section with filter medium separating raw side and clean side. A first communication path connects raw side and a first variable blood reservoir volume; a second communication path connects raw side and a second variable blood reservoir volume coupled to a receptacle. When varying the first variable blood reservoir volume, blood contained therein flows through first communication path to raw side, plasma/serum passes through the filter medium from raw side to clean side, and residual blood flows from raw side through second communication path into the second variable blood reservoir volume. When varying the second variable blood reservoir volume, blood contained therein flows through second communication path to raw side, plasma/serum passes through the filter medium from raw side to clean side, and residual blood flows from raw side through first communication path into first variable blood reservoir volume.

The second clean chamber is delimited by a longitudinal side of an edge-side pleat of the first pleated section. The first and second clean chambers are connected to each other. A filter insert with such a filter element is provided.

The feeding volume communicates with a first feeding side opening and with a second feeding side opening. The filter membrane has pores with a pore size that ensures permeability of the filter membrane to blood plasma/serum and that retains blood cells. The first feeding side opening can be coupled to a first blood pump for feeding blood from the first feeding side opening into the feeding volume so that blood plasma/serum permeates the filter membrane and blood cells, retained by the filter membrane, exit from the feeding volume through the second feeding side opening.
