The method also involves generating, from the first set of information, payment card holder transaction based variables in different currencies for comparable goods and/or services; integrating the payment card holder transaction based variables in different currencies, generated from the first set of information, with the second set of information and the third set of information; and forecasting the currency exchange rate based on the integrated information using a forecasting model that includes exogenous covariates, on a currency exchange time series.
