摘要： A method for mutual authentication between a subscriber and a communications network, in which a random number is generated at the subscriber's terminal. The random number is sent to the authentication sub-system managing the authentication of the subscriber for the access to the network, e.g., together with a subscriber's identifier. At the authentication sub-system, the identifier is used for checking the credentials of the subscriber. During the authentication process, parameters related to the subscriber's identifier are generated at the authentication sub-system, and the random number is encrypted using a session key formed using such parameters. The encrypted random number is then sent back to the subscriber's terminal, together with information needed to terminal in order to reconstruct the session key. After having reconstructed the session key, the subscriber's terminal decrypts the random number and checks matching with its generated random number. The matching between the two numbers allows the verification, by the subscriber, that the access point to which he/she is connecting is not a fake access point.

摘要： An office electronic apparatus is associated to an apparatus card and is able to use or provide a service by means of identification information; the identification information allows billing of the use or provision of the service. A mobile telephone terminal is associated to a subscriber card storing subscriber identification information. According to the method of the present invention, at least the subscriber identification information and preferably also subscriber authentication information are transferred from the mobile telephone terminal to an office electronic apparatus when the said mobile telephone terminal is in proximity of the office electronic apparatus, the transferred information is stored into the apparatus card of the office electronic apparatus, and the service is autonomously used or provided by the office electronic apparatus by means of the transferred information.

摘要： A method for mutual authentication between a subscriber and a communications network, in which a random number is generated at the subscriber's terminal. The random number is sent to the authentication sub-system managing the authentication of the subscriber for the access to the network, e.g., together with a subscriber's identifier. The method includes having the caller place a call to a virtual mobile telephony number associated with the fixed telephony number; conditioned to the fact that call forwarding from the fixed telephony number to the mobile telephony number is enabled, routing the call to the mobile telephony number; and, if the responder accepts, terminating the call from the caller at the mobile telephony number of the responder instead of at the fixed telephony number, so as to establish a direct telephone call between the caller and the responder. This direct telephone call is viewed by the caller as a call to a mobile telephony number, and, in particular, the caller sustains the cost of the call.
