    • An oil skimmer and vacuum recovery apparatus providing a method for removing the contaminating oil floating on the surface of a water body is disclosed. The apparatus may be mounted on an oil recovery vessel and includes a vacuum head mounted to a vacuum system. The vacuum head is configured at a desired proximity above a horizontally disposed separation plate that is adjustably positionable to be placed between the water surface and a contaminating layer of floating oil. The vacuum system includes a vacuum pump and motor and an associated vacuum tank configured to a fluids collection chamber that is in communication with a fluids vacuum line attached to the vacuum head. A vacuum force is directed by the vacuum head to the layer of floating oil above the separation plate whereby and the oil layer is skimmed from over the separation plate and drawn through the vacuum head the fluids vacuum line to the fluids collection chamber where it is collected for disposal.

    • A pipeline cleaning apparatus and method configured for use in cleaning and clearing a pipeline of transient fluids, hydrocarbons, and other unwanted debris is disclosed. The apparatus and method utilizes a vacuum assembly haying a collection tank connected to a pipeline by at temporary vacuum line. Negative pressure created by the vacuum assembly causes a compressible pig to move down the length of the pipeline and up the temporary vacuum line to push transient hydrocarbons, fluids, and other unwanted debris from within the pipeline to the collection tank. The removal of hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons from the pipeline cleans the pipeline and allows the pipeline to be abandoned while complying with federal regulations.

    • A cable protector and access ramp apparatus and system are disclosed. The apparatus and system is comprised of a plurality of variously configured cable protector sections. Each of the sections has a protected raceway through which various piping, electrical, gas, communication and other service lines may be directed and front and rear ramps to allow vehicles to roll up and over the protected raceway. The raceway in each of the sections of the apparatus and system has a hinged cover which may be lifted to allow placement and access to the service lines. The front and rear ramps of each of the sections may be provided with a pivoting ramp cover having a slot configured to allow access to lifting channels in the frame. The lifting channels are configured to receive the tines of a forklift.

    • A vacuum assisted drill cuttings dryer and handling apparatus has a vacuum tank and an associated vacuum pump and motor configured for use with a high speed centrifugal dryer. Cuttings are drawn from the shaker of a drilling rig into the centrifugal dryer by means of a vacuum created in the centrifugal dryer by the vacuum tank and an associated vacuum pump and motor. The dryer is provided with sealable exit doors that may be opened and closed in sequence to allow removal of the cuttings even as cuttings are drawn in to the centrifugal dryer. A fluids collection chamber in communication with vacuum lines between the vacuum tank and centrifugal dryer collects fluids drawn from the centrifugal dryer.
