    • A particular continuous downward spiraling cereal bowl is disclosed which allows for exceptional control over a mixing process by keeping dry substances separated from liquids until mixed in user defined portions and timeframes. The disclosure comprises a slightly asymmetrically round bowl consisting of two contiguous areas with an inner surface that continually slopes downward between the two areas and an S-shaped guide rail between these two areas. The shape of the guide rail is curved in order to hold cereal in the upper part of the spiral at a level above the fill line of liquid held in the lower portion of the spiral. In the preferred embodiment, the bowl further comprises a thumb groove underneath the inner surface of the dry area which may serve as an embedded handle.

    • A modular, temporary safety railing system that provides fall restraint protection during masonry wall construction projects includes a plurality of anchoring sleeves which are embedded in wet grout within a hollow cavity of a masonry block onto which posts and rail sections are assembled. The embedded pins receive and secure respective vertical posts via interconnecting locking pins comprising spring pin fasteners. A plurality of top and intermediate rail sections are attached to the vertical posts using connecting hardware designed to adjustable position said rail sections at an offset distance allowing additional courses of block to be added to the wall without interference from said railing system. As construction continues, the vertical posts are detached from the embedded sleeves and reused with newly installed sleeves.

    • A utensil in the form of a spoon having a spill resistant bowl. The bowl may have an angled tip at the front portion of the bowl and a secondary reservoir at or near the rear portion of the bowl. In some embodiments, portions of the inner surface of the bowl may be textured near the perimeter edge along the sides of the bowl. The utensil may also have an ergonomic handle having a depression on the top and concavity on the bottom with a flattened portion at the rear end. The flattened portion allows the utensil to stand upright.

    • An apparatus and method is disclosed for decelerating and absorbing impact of a re-entry vehicle suitable for payloads that are relatively light as well as payloads weighing several tons or more. The apparatus includes four inflatable legs displaced equidistantly from each other around a capsule or housing which contains a payload. The legs are inflated at a designated altitude after entering Earth's atmosphere to slow the descent of the re-entry vehicle. Connected between each of the four legs are drag inducing surfaces that deploy as the legs inflate. The drag inducing surfaces are triangularly shaped with one such surface being connected between each pair of legs for a total of six drag inducing surfaces. The legs have drag inducing outer surfaces which act to slow the descent of the re-entry vehicle.

    • A system and method for creating a new destination data structure in memory populated with data from fields of an existing source data structure. A representation of the source is selected, dragged over, and dropped onto an icon representing a program module. The source and the program module are each associated with a type of data structure. If these types of data structures are different, then the destination is created in memory of the type associated with the program module. Once the destination is created, the data within the source is transformed to populate predetermined fields of the destination. One way of populating the destination is by determining which field in the destination corresponds to a given field in the source. Data from a given field of the source is loaded into the corresponding field of the destination. This is performed for each of the fields in the source, thus transferring the data into the destination from the source without having to manually re-enter or perform successive copy and paste operations on the data in the fields of the destination. Another way of populating the destination is by formatting data from each of the printable fields of the source into a predetermined rich text format to yield a formatted version of the source as if the source were being printed in one of the fields of the destination. The formatted data is then loaded into the field of the destination.
