    • The present invention relates to modified alkoxysilane-functional polyurethanes containing allophanate and/or biuret groups, wherein at least 10 mol % of the allophanate and/or biuret groups are formed from a monoisocyanate of the formula R-NCO, wherein R is an optionally heteroatom-containing alkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical having up to 20 carbon atoms, provided that these radicals do not contain any other reactive groups with the exception of the NCO group that is part of the allophanate structure and any alkoxysilyl groups present. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing alkoxysilane-functional prepolymers by A) reacting some or all of the urethane groups and/or urea groups of alkoxysilane-functional polyurethane prepolymers with monoisocyanates of the formula, R-NCO to form allophanate groups and/or biuret groups, or B) reacting some or all urethane groups and/or urea groups of alkoxysilyl-free polyurethane prepolymers with monoisocyanates of the formula R-NCO to form allophanate groups and/or biuret groups, the radical R having at least one alkoxysilyl group. The present invention further relates to sealants, adhesives, primers and coatings based on the polyurethane prepolymers of the invention.

    • The present invention relates to a process for preparing alkoxysilane-functional prepolymers by reacting A) 1.0 equivalent of a polyol component have a number average molecular weight of 3000 g/mol to 20,000 g/mol and containing one or more polyQxyalkylene polyols or polyoxyalkylene polyol prepolymers with B) 1.05 to 1.50 equivalent of an isocyanate-and alkoxysilane-functional compound of formula I) wherein X, Y, and Z independently of one another are linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl or C1-C8 alkoxy radicals, wherein at least one of the radicals is a C1-C8 alkoxy group and R is an organic radical having a functionality of at least two, and subsequently further reacting the remaining free NCO groups by allophanatization or by reaction with C) an isocyanate-reactive component. The present invention also relates to the alkoxysilane-functional prepolymers obtained by the process of the invention.

    • The present invention relates to polyurethane prepolymer having terminal alkoxysilane and OH groups which is the reaction product of A) a polyurethane prepolymer prepared by incomplete reaction of i) an aromatic, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diisocyanate component having an NCO content of 20 to 60% by weight with ii) a polyol component comprising a polyoxyalkylene diol having a number average molecular weight of 3000 to 20,000, wherein the reaction is stopped after 50 to 90% of the OH groups of component ii) are reacted and 10 to 50% are unreacted, with B) a compound having alkoxysilane and amino groups, preferably a compound containing alkoxysilane and aspartate groups. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing these polyurethane prepolymers containing terminal alkoxysilane and OH groups and to isocyanate-free, sealants, adhesives, primers and coatings containing these polyurethane prepolymers containing terminal alkoxysilane and OH groups as binders.
