A stock person carrying a handheld communicator with a bar code scanner can conveniently scan the ESL and then enter the number of items removed from or placed on the shelf. Assuming he is using a wireless communicator, the information is sent immediately to the ESL server via the ESL system, and the ESL display is then updated as well as the establishment's inventory database.

The blinder portions preferably include surfaces that are inclined to generally extend along the light cone generated by an LED light source mounted to the front end portion of each of the temple arm members. In another form, the temple arm members each have a recessed cavity formed in inner surface portion thereof in which the power source and switch components are received with the switch actuator mounted to the inner surface portion so it is hidden from view when the eyewear is worn for enhanced aesthetics.

摘要： An apparatus and method for separating animal waste from litter are provided. In one form, the apparatus includes a drum that contains litter and a helical rake that is rotatable in the drum. The rake can rotate relative to the drum to reduce power requirements for the rotary rake drive. Preferably, the drum is also rotatable by turning of the rake in the drum, but only for a limited, fixed angular distance which also reduces peak power requirements for the rotary drive motor for the rake.
