摘要： A phase shifter, including two superconducting circuits, is provided. Each of the superconducting circuits includes at least one capacitor coupled in parallel to at least a Josephson junction and at least one inductor, where a respective inductance of each of the Josephson junctions (e.g., a first Josephson junction and a second Josephson junction) is a function of at least a current flow through each of the respective inductors. An effect of any or both of: (1) at least the inductance of the at least the first Josephson junction and (2) at least the inductance of the at least the second Josephson junction causes a phase change of a radio frequency signal received at a first terminal of the phase shifter to generate a phase-shifted radio frequency signal at a second terminal of the phase shifter.

摘要： Examples described in this disclosure relate to a memory cell with Josephson phase-based torque. In one example, a memory cell including a first inductor and a magnetic Josephson junction (MJJ) coupled to the first inductor to form a loop is provided. The MJJ may include a free magnetic layer formed above a non-magnetic layer, and a fixed magnetic layer below the non-magnetic layer. A first state of the memory cell corresponds to a first magnetization of the free magnetic layer that is parallel to a magnetization of the fixed magnetic layer and the second state of the memory cell corresponds to a second magnetization of the free magnetic layer that is anti-parallel to the magnetization of the fixed magnetic layer. The memory cell is configured to switch from the first state to the second state based on whether the MJJ is in a zero-state or a π-state.

摘要： Embodiments are directed to doubly balanced superconducting mixers and to methods for modulating a radio frequency signal using multiple tunable inductive elements in a doubly balanced superconducting mixer. In one scenario, a doubly balanced superconducting mixer is provided which includes an input port that receives an signal. The doubly balanced superconducting mixer further includes an IF control signal, a DC control signal and a filter that includes a first inner filter stage and a second inner filter stage. The first and second inner stages are coupled via a ring of tunable inductive elements, and are further inductively coupled to outer filter stages. The doubly balanced superconducting mixer further includes a controller that modulates the RF signal using the IF control signal and the DC control signal to tune the ring of tunable inductive elements to control transmission of the RF signal through the first and second inner filter stages.
