摘要： A computing device includes a storage machine holding instructions executable by a logic machine to generate multi-string clusters, each containing alphanumeric strings of a dataset. Further multi-string clusters are generated via iterative performance of a combination operation in which a hierarchically-superior cluster is generated from a set of multi-string clusters. The combination operation includes, for candidate pairs of multi-string clusters, generating syntactic profiles describing an alphanumeric string from each multi-string cluster of the candidate pair. For each of the candidate pairs, a cost factor is determined for at least one of its syntactic profiles. Based on the cost factors determined for the syntactic profiles, one of the candidate pairs is selected. The multi-string clusters from the selected candidate pair are combined to generate the hierarchically-superior cluster including all of the alphanumeric strings from the selected candidate pair of multi-string clusters.

摘要： In a computer program, sublanguage code snippets implement regular expressions, pattern matching, print formatting, component selection, and other operations, using sublanguage syntax and semantics different from the source code in which snippets are embedded. Writing snippets that give desired execution results has been difficult and interfered with software development workflow. But sublanguage snippet presentation functionality in an enhanced development tool automatically detects source code locations suitable for snippets, receives snippet execution result examples from a developer, submits the examples to synthesis-by-example technology, gets autosynthesized snippets that give those results, and displays snippet insertion candidates with guidance. A snippet selected by the developer replaces the example(s) in the source code, improving developer productivity and program execution accuracy with respect to documented test cases. Examples may be autogenerated, including representative examples or disambiguating examples. Examples may be preserved in comments. Performance criteria for sublanguage snippet presentation are also described.

A specification of a task to synthesize a program in a domain specific language (DSL) is received. The specification includes an input and a corresponding prefix of the output. Programs for the task are synthesized. The synthesizing includes generating sub-goals based on the specification. Each of the synthesized programs include a solved subset of sub-goals and each sub-goal includes a symbol in the DSL. The symbol is transformed based on the DSL. The sub-goals are solved based on the transforming of the symbol using the input and the corresponding prefix of the output to generate the synthesized programs. The prefix of the output matches a prefix of an output from each of the plurality of synthesized programs.

For each pair, the processor may select one or more rows from the source tuple and elements of the target tuple. 摘要： Robotic task program synthesis embodiments are presented that generally synthesize a robotic task program based on received examples of repositioning tasks. In one implementation, the exemplary repositioning tasks are human demonstrations of object manipulation in an actual or displayed robot workspace. A domain specific language (DSL) designed for object repositioning tasks is employed for the robotic control program. In general, candidate robotic task programs are generated from the example tasks. Each candidate program includes instructions for causing the robot to reposition objects, and represents a different permutation of instructions consistent with the received example tasks. The candidate programs are ranked, and whenever the top ranking program accomplishes the repositioning specified in each example task, it is designated as the synthesized robotic task program.

Further, a set of answer strings is extracted from the documents. The answer strings in the set match the linguistic pattern, the structural pattern, and the visual pattern. The search engine is controlled to provide an output in response to the user search query, the output being based on the set of answer strings extracted from the documents.
