The thin film transistor array panel according to the present invention includes a substrate, a light blocking member formed on the substrate, a gate line disposed on the light blocking member. The gate line and the light blocking member define a closed region A color filter is formed in the closed region and contacts the side surface of the gate line. A color filter substrate is manufactured using the ink composition for color filter. The ink composition for the color filter improves straightness of ink jetting through an ink-jetting nozzle and prevents the ink composition from spreading to neighboring pixels.

The color filter portion is formed by jetting the colored inks to the pixel areas.

Consequently, it is possible to prevent color filter solutions deposited through an inkjet deposition process from overflowing over the lyophobic partition wall tops into adjacent pixel regions and it is also possible to conformably define color filters of consistent thickness between the black matrix partition walls.

摘要： In a color filter substrate and a method for manufacturing the color filter substrate, the color filter substrate includes a base substrate, a first blocking pattern, a second blocking pattern and color filters. The base substrate includes a plurality of pixel areas. The first blocking pattern extends along a direction of the base substrate. The second blocking pattern crosses the first blocking pattern and includes a passage portion through which the base substrate is exposed to connect the pixel areas adjacent to each other along the direction. Color filters are formed in the pixel areas. Accordingly, the uniformity of the color filters and the reliability of the color filter's quality and manufacturing process may be enhanced so that display quality may be enhanced.
