    • An aperture controlling system includes a CMOS image sensor, a brightness encoder, an aperture and an aperture driving circuit. The brightness encoder is used for extracting brightness information sensed by the CMOS image sensor and converting the brightness information into digital codes. The aperture driving circuit includes a D/A converter, a motor coil driving circuit, an environment sensing module, a benchmark voltage generator and a motor. The motor is mechanically connected to the aperture. The motor coil driving circuit includes a voltage comparator. The input and the output of the D/A converter are respectively coupled to the brightness encoder and the inverting input of the voltage comparator. The input and the output of the benchmark voltage generator are respectively coupled to the environment sensing module and the non-inverting input of the voltage comparator. The output of voltage comparator is connected to the motor.

    • A system and method for chassis management is proposed. The chassis management system includes at least one server unit, a first control unit, a second control unit, and a system management bus. The system management bus connects the first control unit and the second control unit to the server unit, so as to enable the first control unit and the second control unit to manage operating conditions of the server unit. One of the first control unit and the second control unit sends a request to search for a master controller. If, within a predetermined period of time the system management bus fails to indicate a master controller address on the system management bus in response to the request, then one of the first control unit and the second control unit is configured to function as the master controller, conversely one of the first control unit and the second control unit is configured to function as the slave controller.

    • A system and a method for control of fan rotational speed are applied in an electronic device with a fan for temperature adjustment. The electronic device at least records a first fan rotational speed of the fan when a temperature of the fan is higher than a predetermined temperature interval and a second fan rotational speed of the fan when the temperature of the fan is lower than the temperature interval. A fan rotational speed during operation of the fan is recorded. The electronic device detects a temperature of an exothermic object being adjusted by the fan, and outputs a temperature parameter. The electronic device determines whether the temperature parameter belongs to the temperature interval and accordingly adjusts the fan rotational speed of the fan. The system and method make change of the fan rotational speed less sensitive to oscillations in system temperature and prolong the lifetime of the fan.

    • An IP address updating system and related method is applied to a network server having a management controller for the management controller to update IP installation information. The system includes an acquiring module, a comparing module and an updating module. The method first detects MACs of NICs attached to the network server and LAN channels of the management controller, and then compares the MACs of the NICs with the MACs of the LAN channels. When a MAC of one of the NICs is matched with a MAC of one of the LAN channels, installation fields of the matched LAN channel are updated with IP installation information of the matched NIC. Therefore, a system manager needs not to update the IP address time after time any more, and the network server has better efficiency of management.

The method provides a network serving equipment having a management controller, and connects a network serving equipment through the network communications system to the remote console. The method sets the network serving equipment in a PXE mode, and sends request instructions to request IP address to the remote console after the network serving equipment is actuated, to acquire corresponding IP address. The network serving equipment sends IP request instructions to the remote console to request corresponding network parameter setting program. Then the network serving equipment executes the network parameter setting program instruction, and sets IP address parameters of the management controller according to the acquired IP address accordingly. A setting result is returned to the remote console, and the remote console is able to control the network serving equipment to execute operations.
