摘要： A method of handling cell selection for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The mobile device is transferring from a first mode to a second mode. The method comprises determining whether a plurality of active sets of the mobile device comprises at least one first cell of a location area of the wireless communication system, for producing a result, and the location area comprising a first cell serving the mobile device when the mobile device transfers from the second mode to the first mode; and selecting a second cell from the at least one first cell for camping in the second mode, when the result indicates that the plurality of active sets comprise the at least one first cell.
