摘要： A communication system in which a mobile communication device communicates with communication apparatus of the communication system uses radio frames that include a plurality of sub-frames. The mobile communication device receives information for use in identifying a first power ratio, said first power ratio representing a ratio of a power used by the communication apparatus for transmitting a reference signal to a first power used for transmitting data in a first sub-frame of a radio frame. The mobile communication device receives information for use in identifying and a second power ratio, the second power ratio representing a ratio of a power used by the communication apparatus for transmitting a reference signal to a second power used for transmitting data in a second sub-frame of said radio frame. The mobile communication device generates a measurement report including information calculated in dependence on at least one of the first and second power ratio.

The antennas are partitioned into multiple antenna subsets. In a first form of the method, one of the antennas is designated as a reference antenna and the reference antenna forms part of each antenna subset. In a second form of the method, one of the subsets is designated as a reference subset. The UE(s) are operable to compute multiple PMIs for the respective multiple subsets and to report the multiple PMIs to the eNB for the eNB to use in precoding. The first form involves computing a PMI for a given antenna subset independently of the PMIs of any of the other antenna subsets. The second form involves computing a PMI for a given subset based on or using the PMI for the reference subset.

摘要： Provided is a wireless communication system that efficiently carries out communications between a wireless control device and a wireless device. A wireless control device (20) has a wireless resource allocation unit (22) and a wireless resource instruction unit (24). The wireless resource allocation unit (22) allocates wireless resources that are used by a wireless device (30) when wirelessly communicating with a wireless terminal (2). The wireless resource instruction unit (24) sends, to the wireless device (30), instructions for causing the allocated wireless resources to be used. The wireless device (30) has a wireless signal processing unit (32) and a wireless transmission unit (34). On the basis of the instructions from the wireless control device (20), the wireless signal processing unit (32) performs processing, for performing wireless communications using the allocated wireless resources, on data to be sent to the wireless terminal (2). The wireless transmission unit (34) converts signals processed by the wireless signal processing unit (32) to wireless signals, and transmits the wireless signals to the wireless terminal (2).
