    • A ring antenna has a C-shaped loop element formed on the upper surface of a main body part including a ring-shaped dielectric material having a square cross-sectional shape. A cut part is formed in a portion of this C-shaped loop element, which is formed in the shape of a loop. In addition, an arc-shaped radiation element is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the main body part so as to be concentric with the C-shaped loop element, with a prescribed interval therebetween. The C-shaped loop element is excited by the radiation element. The tip of a feed conductor is connected to a feed part that is connected to one end of the radiation element formed on the lower surface of main body part, and electrical power is fed to the radiation element from the feed conductor.

    • A control method is provided for an electronic device that has a receiver to receive a satellite signal, and a time display unit to display time. The method includes selecting, by manual operation using a crown or a button, a first time correction processing or a second time correction processing. When the first time correction processing is selected, the control method further includes receiving a satellite signal, acquiring time information based on the received satellite signal, and correcting the displayed time based on the acquired time information. When the second time correction processing is selected, the control method further includes receiving a satellite signal, calculating the position of the electronic device based on satellite orbit information contained in the received satellite signal, and correcting the displayed time based on the calculated position.

    • An electronic device comprises a receiver configured to receive a satellite signal; a time generator configured to generate time; and a processor configured to selectively execute an automatic reception process or a manual reception process. The automatic reception process includes acquiring time information based on the received satellite signal and correcting the time based on the acquired time information. The automatic reception process is executed when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The manual reception process includes calculating the position of the electronic device based on satellite orbit information and the received satellite signal, and correcting the time based on the calculated position. The manual reception process is executed based on manual operation.
