The brake-side clutch part includes an outer ring, which is constrained in rotation, an output shaft that outputs the rotation, and a cylindrical roller that controls the interruption of the rotational torque reversely input from the output shaft and the transmission of the rotational torque input from the lever-side clutch part through engagement and disengagement between the outer ring and the output shaft. The output shaft includes a slide gear, which meshes with a side plate during interruption of the rotational torque and does not mesh with the side plate during transmission of the rotational torque.

摘要： When a control retainer and a rotary retainer rotate relative to each other, a plurality of pairs of rollers received in respective pockets are pushed by pillars so as to move to their disengaged position. An anti-rotation arrangement is provided between an outer ring and the control retainer. The anti-rotation arrangement prevents the control retainer from rotating relative to the outer ring when the rollers are engaged, so that that the rollers does not move to their neutral position. This increases reliability. The anti-rotation arrangement includes a plurality of first protrusions formed on the surface of the outer ring, and a plurality of second protrusions formed on the surface of the control retainer axially opposed to the surface of the outer ring. Heat treatment is performed to the first and second protrusions so as to increase the hardness thereof.

The first one-way clutch is disposed within an opening formed in a partition wall of a transmission case. The oil pump includes a rotor having an inner peripheral portion defining a hollow space. 摘要： A rotation braking device includes a clutch mechanism disposed between an inner member and an outer member. The clutch mechanism includes an electromagnetic actuator which controls relative rotation of the cage such that, due to the relative rotation, engaging elements are moved between an engaged position and a neutral position. An armature is rotationally fixed relative to the cage, and can be directly magnetically attracted to an electromagnet which is rotationally fixed relative a housing that houses the clutch mechanism. The outer member is directly supported in a radial direction by the housing and engages the housing so as to limit relative rotation relative to each other.
