The inner casing has a through-hole that causes the inner path end the outer path to communicate with each other.

The fiber reinforced thermoplastic portion (12) of the first composite component (10) includes a lining layer formed on the metal plate (11) and reinforcing ribs raised from the lining layer. The fiber reinforced thermoplastic portion (22) of the second composite component (20) includes a planar portion (24) infilled in an opening (23) opened on the metal plate 21. The discontinuous fibers in the fiber reinforced thermoplastic portion (22) of the second composite component (20) are longer than the discontinuous fibers in the fiber reinforced thermoplastic portion (12) of the first composite component (10).

The method includes irradiating plasma on at least a portion of the reinforcing fibers, and adjusting an irradiation intensity of the plasma such that an irradiation amount of the plasma with respect to the reinforcing fibers becomes constant in accordance with changes in a transport speed of the reinforcing fibers.

Impact energy in case of side collision is released in two steps. With this, an impact absorbing function is enhanced.
