摘要： The image processing apparatus performs region designation with respect to a displayed image. The image processing apparatus comprises a display unit configured to display an image constituted by a predetermined number of pixels, an input unit configured to receive a selection operation with respect to the image, a control unit, and a storage unit. The control unit generates a plurality of divided regions acquired by dividing the image in accordance with similarity calculated based on pixel values and pixel locations. Each time a divided region among the plurality of divided regions is selected according to the selection operation received by the input unit, the control unit stores identification information of the selected divided region in the storage unit in association with a selection order of selecting the divided region. The control unit displays the divided region corresponding to the stored identification information on the display unit in an identifiable manner.

摘要： The image processing apparatus inpaints a part of an image displayed on the display unit. The control unit determines a removal patch including a removal region and a first non-removal region that is a region that does not include the removal region in the image, and replace pixel values of pixels included in the removal region with pixel values of pixels outside the removal patch. The control unit calculates a distance from the removal region for pixels included in the first non-removal region, blends pixel values of the pixels included in at least a portion of the first non-removal region with the pixel values of the pixels outside the removal patch based on the calculated distance to obtain blended pixel values, and replaces the pixel values of the pixels included in the at least a portion of the first non-removal region with the blended pixel values.

The control unit performs erosion processing with respect to the selection range by reducing a number of pixels constituting the selection range, and performs dilation processing with respect to the selection range resulting from the erosion processing by increasing the number of pixels constituting the selection range resulting from the erosion processing. The number of pixels constituting the selection range resulting from the dilation processing is greater than the number of pixels constituting the selection range before the erosion processing.
