摘要： A method is disclosed, comprising: receiving a first and a second Internet Protocol (IP) packet at a mesh network node; tagging the first and the second IP packet at the mesh network node based on a type of traffic by adding an IP options header to each of the first and the second IP packet; forwarding the first and the second IP packet toward a mesh gateway node; filtering the first and the second IP packet at the mesh gateway node based on the added IP options header by assigning each of the first and the second IP packet to one of a plurality of message queues, each of the plurality of message queues having a limited forwarding throughput; and forwarding the first and the second IP packet from the mesh gateway node toward a mobile operator core network, thereby providing packet flow filtering based on IP header and traffic type.

摘要： In this invention we disclose methods of automatically configuring a wireless node when it initially powers on and seeks to integrate into an existing wireless network. The wireless node could be part of an ad hoc, software defined network. One such network could be LTE network. The auto-configuration methods disclosed herein can be executed on wireless nodes throughout their operation. In addition, the methods herein allow a node to intelligently choose which network to join when there is more than one available network. In alternate embodiments, the methods disclosed could be used to create a new configuration based on changed environmental conditions, location or node capability change. These embodiments allow wireless nodes to migrate to better quality connections if they become available.

摘要： A method for enabling configuration at a base station may be provided by reading configuration information for a configuration wireless network at a cellular base station with Wi-Fi capability, where the configuration information may include a known Wi-Fi service set identifier (SSID). The method may further require synchronizing the configuration information with a coordination server and periodically scanning for the known Wi-Fi SSID in a non-access point (AP) mode. Additionally, the method may further require authenticating, at the coordination server, another device acting as an access point (AP) using RADIUS authentication and connecting to the known Wi-Fi SSID generated by the another device, the another device receiving the known Wi-Fi SSID from the coordination server. The method further includes establishing a secure network protocol connection between the base station and the another device for performing operational configuration of the base station, and authenticating the another device at the coordination server.
