In the information processing apparatus, circuitry is configured to transmit an input command to at least one of a plurality of imaging devices that are associated with the information processing apparatus, the command being executable as a synchronous operation or an asynchronous operation based on information relating to at least one of the imaging devices. The information may, for example, be the number of the imaging devices to which the input command is transmitted. In that example, when the number of the imaging devices is below a threshold amount, the input command is transmitted as the synchronous operation, and when the number of the imaging devices is above the threshold amount, the input command is transmitted as the asynchronous operation.

摘要： Content transmission between devices is to be appropriately performed. An information processing device includes a control unit. In addition, the control unit included in the information processing device performs control to select content to be transmitted from among content recorded on a recording medium and transmit the selected content to a second external information processing device when a contact with or proximity to the second external information processing device is detected by using short-distance radio communication. In this case, the control unit of the information processing device uses selection information, which is information for selecting content to be transmitted from among the content recorded on the recording medium and which is generated by the first external information processing device. Thus, the control unit of the information processing device performs control to transmit content recorded on the recording medium to the second external information processing device on the basis of the selection information.

The control unit 15 correlates disturbance information, which indicates disturbance affecting image data or audio data generated by the imaging device 20, with image data generated by the imaging device 20 at the time of disturbance on the basis of fixation/separation information indicating the fixed state or the separated state of the imaging device 20 and the information processing device 60. Accordingly, a low-quality portion in a captured image is easily detectable on the basis of disturbance information correlated with image data.

For example, user-friendliness of both the cellular phone function of the information processing device and an imaging function of the imaging device improves by performing different state controls at the time of reception of an incoming call, an incoming call responding state, and an incoming call response end in accordance with the fixed state or the separated state.
