摘要： A light scanning unit and an electro-photographic image forming apparatus employing the same are provided. A light scanning unit for scanning a beam onto a scanned surface includes a light source for emitting a beam according to an image signal; an optical deflector for deflecting and scanning the beam emitted from the light source, in a main scanning direction; and a imaging optical system for imaging the beam deflected and scanned by the optical deflector, on the scanned surface, wherein, if a main scanning direction width of the beam emitted from the light source is defined as a, a sub-scanning direction width of the beam is defined as b, a main scanning incident angle of the beam incident on the scanned surface with respect to a main scanning section is defined as Φ, and a sub-scanning incident angle of the beam incident on the scanned surface with respect to a sub-scanning section is defined as β, a maximum main scanning incident angle Φmax and a sub-scanning incident angle β of the beam satisfy Φmax·β

摘要： A light scanning unit includes: a light source emitting a light beam according to an image signal; a light deflector deflecting and scanning the light beam emitted from the light source; and a synchronization detection optical system comprising a synchronization detection sensor detecting a synchronization signal by receiving a portion of the light beam that is deflected and scanned by the light deflector and a synchronization detection lens disposed between the light deflector and the synchronization detection sensor, wherein the synchronization detection lens is an anamorphic lens in which refractive power in a first direction and refractive power in a second direction different from the first direction are different, and wherein the first direction of the synchronization detection lens is inclined with respect to a main scanning direction in which a light beam incident on the synchronization detection lens is scanned.

The laser scanning unit includes a deflector that is rotatable to deflect a plurality of light beams that are incident on the deflector from a plurality of light sources at an angle with respect to a sub-scanning direction; at least one optical path changing member to change an optical path of each of the light beams deflected by the deflector; and a first f-θ lens to focus the light beam that passes through the optical path changing member onto a corresponding scanning target surface.
