摘要： A technique facilitates monitoring of events related to various well operations. According to an embodiment, the technique provides a non-invasive approach to measuring fluid and solids transport through well surface pipe assemblies. The desired information may be detected and obtained by mounting sensors to the exterior of pipes, thus enabling retrofitting of the sensor system to existing assemblies at a desired time during a given operation. Additionally, the technique may utilize a combination of sensors and systems for measuring fluid and solids transport through well flow path assemblies. The measurements obtained may be used to provide real-time monitoring of surface flow conditions as well as of downhole wellbore conditions and of the status of downhole equipment.

摘要： A method for placing ball sealers within a well formed within a subterranean formation for sealing holes in a casing of the well is carried out by performing at least one of two operations. The first operation involves providing a tag with at least one ball sealer or a carrier fluid containing the at least one ball sealer to facilitate monitoring of the location of the ball sealer. A tag monitoring device is provided within the well for monitoring the location of the tag. The ball sealer and carrier fluid with the tag are introduced downhole into the well. Information from the monitor device regarding the location of the tag is communicated to a remote monitoring location to the thereby provide an indication of the location of the tag within the well to a surface location. In the second operation a container is provided within the well at a known location downhole within the well. The container contains at least one ball sealer. The ball sealer or sealers are released from the container within the well at the known location in response to an instruction initiated from a surface location.

摘要： A technique facilitates precision fluid conveyance and placement to one or more desired locations in a borehole, e.g. a wellbore. According to an embodiment, a material container, e.g. a fluid container, and/or a fluid flow path system may be deployed downhole via coiled tubing. A release system is selectively actuatable to release a specific amount or amounts of material, e.g. treatment fluid, at the one or more desired locations along the borehole. Depending on the application, various discharge mechanisms and/or supply mechanisms may be used in cooperation with the material container and/or fluid flow path system to provide the precision fluid conveyance and placement.
