摘要： A method for performing inter-layer prediction when encoding/decoding a video signal, includes confirming, by a decoding apparatus, whether or not only one macroblock of a field macroblock pair of a base layer is coded in intra mode, the field macroblock pair is two vertically adjacent field macroblocks. The method further includes predicting motion information of a current macroblock pair in an enhanced layer using motion information of an inter-mode macroblock in the field macroblock pair if the confirming confirms that only one of the macroblocks in the field macroblock pair is coded in the intra mode. A frame macroblock pair is constructed from the field macroblock pair if at least one of the macroblocks the field macroblock pair is coded in the intra mode, and texture prediction information of the current macroblock pair is obtained using texture information of the constructed frame macroblock pair.

摘要： A method and an apparatus of decoding a video signal are provided. The present invention includes the steps of parsing first coding information indicating whether a residual data of an image block in the enhanced layer is predicted from a corresponding block in the base layer, from the bitstream of the enhanced layer, and decoding the video signal based on the first coding information. And, the step of parsing includes the step of performing modeling the first coding information based on second coding information indicating whether prediction information of the corresponding block in the base layer is used to decode the image block in the enhanced layer. Accordingly, the present invention raises efficiency of video signal processing by enabling a decoder to derive information on a prediction mode of a current block in a decoder instead of transferring the information to the decoder.

摘要： A method for decoding/encoding a video signal using an inter layer prediction process is disclosed. The method for decoding a video signal including several layer information includes: a) acquiring a first prediction signal for a current block of an enhancement layer and a residual signal based on at least a base layer block; b) smoothing the sum of the first prediction signal and the residual signal, and generating a second prediction signal for the current block; and c) reconstruction the current block based on the second prediction signal. Therefore, the method for decoding/encoding a video signal uses a variety of inter layer prediction methods according to the macroblock types of macroblocks of the current and base layers, and removes inter layer redundancy, resulting in increased coding efficiency.

摘要： The method includes receiving a multi-view video stream including a random access picture, which includes a random access slice. The random access slice references only a slice corresponding to a same time and a different view of the random access picture. Type information indicating whether the random access slice is predicted from one or two reference pictures is obtained, and a reference picture list is initialized using view number information and view identification information included in obtained initialization information according to the type information. The initialization information is obtained based on a value indicating decoding order between the plurality of views. The initialized reference picture list is modified based on modification information representing how to assign an inter-view reference index in the initialized reference picture list. A prediction value of a macroblock in the random access picture is determined based on the modified reference picture list, and the macroblock is decoded using the prediction value.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for encoding a decoding a video signal. In the procedure of encoding the video signal, when a frame temporarily simultaneous with a frame including a macro block of an enhanced layer which will obtain a prediction video does not exist in a base layer, the macro block is encoded based on difference values of residual data using corresponding residual blocks in a past frame and a future frame of the base layer which are residual data corresponding to image difference values and using a residual block for the macro block of the enhanced layer. In another embodiment, the macro block is encoded based on difference values of residual data using corresponding residual blocks in a past frame and a future frame of the enhanced layer and the residual block for the macro block. Accordingly, a residual prediction mode is applied for a macro block of an enhanced layer even if a frame temporally simultaneous with a frame of the enhanced layer does not exist in a base layer, thereby improve coding efficiency.
