The wireless access interface provides a scheduling region including plural predetermined sections of communications resources, and plural sections of shared communications resources. Transmission of a scheduling assignment message in a section of the scheduling region informs other devices of a group that a communications device will transmit signals representing data in a corresponding section of the shared communications channel.
