    • A connector has a slider (60) with a base (61) extending along a width direction and to be inserted below a lock arm (17). Two arms (62) project from opposite widthwise ends of the base (61). A coupling (63) couples projecting end parts of the arms (62) and faces an upper surface side of the lock arm (17). A deflectable initial position holding portion (76) is provided on the base (61) and is configured to regulate a movement of the slider (60) to a connection position by resiliently locking an initial position holding receiving portion (25) of a housing main body (11) at an initial position. A connection position holding portion (64) is provided on the coupling (63) and is configured to regulate a detachment of the slider (60) by contacting a connection position holding receiving portion (23) of the lock arm (17) at the connection position.

    • A lever-type connector has a housing (20) and shafts (33) project from opposite side surfaces of the housing (20). Outward deformation preventing walls (35) define open inner spaces (37) on sides of the shafts (33). A U-shaped lever (60) has a coupling (61) and two arm plates (62). The arm plates (62) are mounted on the shafts (33) for rotation between an initial position and a connection position. Each arm plate (62) includes a thin portion (66) and a thick portion (68). The thin portions (66) of the arm plates (62) deform out due to interference with the shafts (33) and enter the inner spaces (37) of the outward deformation preventing walls (35) of the housing (20) at the assembled position. The thick portions (67) of the arm plates (62) enter the inner spaces (37) of the outward deformation preventing walls (35) when moving toward the connection position.

The housing (10) includes deformation guides (24) configured to deform the seal (40) such that a radially outward protruding amount of the projections (42) gradually increases by sliding on the projections (42) in the process of moving the annular portion (41) externally fit on the housing main body (11) toward a proper mounted position.
