摘要： Some embodiments provide a method for channel estimation in a wireless device. According to the method, the wireless device obtains (1010) an indication that a set of antenna ports, or antenna port types, share at least one channel property. The wireless device then estimates (1020) one or more of the shared channel properties based at least on a first reference signal received from a first antenna port included in the set, or having a type corresponding to one of the types in the set. Furthermore, the wireless device performs (1030) channel estimation based on a second reference signal received from a second antenna port included in the set, or having a type corresponding to one of the types in the set, wherein the channel estimation is performed using at least the estimated channel properties.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for mitigating inter-cluster interference in clusters where one or more network nodes are transmitting in coordination using several transceiver antennas. In particular the disclosure relates to improved precoder algorithms to be used for coordinated multipoint transmission applications. The disclosure also relates to corresponding computer programs. The disclosure proposes a method, performed in a coordination unit in a communication system, of mitigating inter-cluster interference, wherein the coordination unit is configured to coordinate transmissions in a cluster comprising one or more wireless devices and one or more network nodes, wherein the one or more network nodes are transmitting in coordination to the wireless devices in the cluster using several transceiver antennas. The method comprises receiving, for each transceiver antenna in each of the one or more network nodes, a signal comprising pre-defined sounding sequences transmitted by the one or more wireless devices of the cluster and sounding channel interference from one or more wireless devices outside the cluster. The method further comprises estimating, from the received signal, the sounding channel interference from the wireless devices outside the cluster. The method also comprises determining downlink precoder weights, for use when transmitting from the transceiver antennas of the cluster, using the estimated sounding channel interference from the one or more wireless devices outside the cluster.

In one aspect, a carrier frequency band includes a plurality of subcarrier frequency bands. Data elements are transmitted and received on respective pairs of adjacent subcarrier frequency bands to provide diversity. Reference symbols are transmitted and received on predetermined subcarrier frequency bands. Muting is applied to selected subcarrier frequency bands based on the number and frequency configuration of the reference symbols.

摘要： In some embodiments, a network node has an associated cell identifier (“cell ID”). The network node creates a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a first secondary synchronization signal, and one or more additional secondary synchronization signals. The combination of signals defines the cell ID. The cell ID is one of N possible cell IDs and N is determined by multiplying: a number of possible values for the PSS; a number of possible values for the first secondary synchronization signal; and for each additional secondary synchronization signal, a number of possible values for the additional secondary synchronization signal, such that N is greater than a legacy number of possible cell IDs determined by multiplying the number of possible values for the PSS and the number of possible values for the first secondary synchronization signal. The network node transmits the combination of the created signals.

摘要： Techniques for facilitating and performing frequency-offset estimation are disclosed. The disclosed techniques include methods and apparatus for maintaining phase coherence among reference symbols on different transmission-time intervals (TTI) for an accurate estimation of frequency offset. Corresponding techniques utilize channel estimation or measurements of channel-related parameters based on multiple reference symbols belonging to different TTIs. An example method in a radio transceiver for facilitating frequency offset estimation at a remote receiver begins with determining that phase coherence between reference symbol transmissions in a first TTI and a second TTI is required. The radio transceiver selectively maintains phase coherence between reference symbol transmissions in the first and second TTIs, in response to said determining. The radio transceiver then transmits during at least part of a third TTI, following the second TTI, without maintaining phase coherence to the reference symbol transmissions in the first and second TTIs.
