    • An odor blender is provided in which a maximum gas concentration of a single component odor gas is not reduced without increasing the number of carrier gas containers, even when the number of the types of component odor gas is increased.An odor blender includes N (an integer of 2 or more) component odor containers 102-1032, M (an integer of 1 or more and less than N) carrier gas containers 101, a blend line 12 for leading component odor gases to a blend part, the bypass line 13 for discharging the component odor gases, the blend part 14 for blending the component odor gases, and solenoid valves 11 for switching a connection from the component odor containers and the carrier gas containers to between the blend line and the bypass line. The computer 20 sets the number of the component odor containers connected to the blend line at the same time to M or less; connects the same number of the carrier gas containers to the bypass line as the number of the component odor containers connected to the blend line; and controls a time frame for the connection from the component odor container to the blend line per predetermined time period, based on a predetermined mixing ratio of the component odor gases.

    • An odor blender is provided in which a number of component odor gases may be increased without increasing the number of carrier gas containers while ensuring a single odor gas concentration is not reduced. The odor blender includes N odor containers, M less than N) carrier gas containers, a blend line leading to a blend part for blending the odor gases, a bypass line for discharging odor gases, and solenoid valves for switching the containers between the blend line and the bypass line.     • An odor sensing system is comprised of a sensor cell including a plurality of quartz resonator sensors aligned therein to detect odor by variation of resonance frequencies derived from weight loading on surfaces thereof, a recognition line including a neural network which recognizes data obtained by subtraction between an output signal of the sensor as frequency variation and, a reference signal selected by one of the output signals of the sensor. The sensor cell is thermostatically regulated by circulating thermostatic water therein to maintain the temperature higher than an advance line of the system. A sample to be recognized is supplied to the sensor cell in a form of vapor generated by blowing a standard gas onto the surface of the sample.
