    • The organic electronic device prevents short-circuiting between electrodes and improves lifetime without deteriorating transmittance, driving voltage stability and storage stability thereof. The organic electronic device has a substrate and provided thereon, a first electrode and a second electrode opposed to each other and at least one organic functional layer located between the first and second electrodes. At least one of the first and second electrodes has an electrically conductive polymer-containing layer containing a hydrophilic polymer binder and an electrically conductive polymer having a π conjugated electrically conductive polymer component and a polyanion component. At least a part of the electrically conductive polymer-containing layer is subjected to crosslinking, and the electrically conductive polymer-containing layer has been subjected to wet washing treatment.

    • An organic electroluminescent element wherein the light extraction efficiency is improved without lowering the electrical conductivity or the transporting or blocking performance for electrons or holes in a transparent electrode or an organic layer. The organic electroluminescent element comprises, on a transparent substrate, at least a light-transmitting first electrode part, an organic light-emitting layer part and a second electrode part, in this order from the substrate, and is characterized in that the first electrode part contains at least metal nanowires and that the average refractive index of the first electrode part is lower than the average refractive index of the organic light-emitting layer part.

    • A method for producing an information recording medium is disclosed. The method comprising the steps of (1) applying a surface treatment on a surface of a film support so that the atomic percentage of oxygen at said surface is increased by 1.0 atomic-% to 10 atomic-% compared to the atomic percentage of oxygen at said surface before treatment, (2) providing a subbing layer comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer having a 2-oxazoline group represented by Formula A on said treated surface of the film support so that the subbing layer is directly adjoined to said surface, and (3) providing an information recording layer on said subbing layer, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, a phenyl group.
