摘要： A method and a wireless device (110) for managing a set of resources for transmission of data to a further wireless device (120) using D2D communication are disclosed. The wireless device (110) and the further wireless device (120) are capable of being operated in a mixed cellular and D2D radio network (100). The set of resources are comprised in a cellular spectrum of the mixed cellular and D2D radio network (100). The wireless device (110) selects, from among the set of resources, a sub set of resources for the transmission of data according to a hopping algorithm for distribution of the sub set of resources among the set of resources. Then, the wireless device (110) sends a scheduling command to the further wireless device (120). The scheduling command indicates the selected sub set of resources. The wireless device (110) sends the data to the further wireless device (120) on the selected sub set of resources using D2D communication.

In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device in a cellular communications network is provided. The method includes camping on a first cell on a first carrier, where the first cell does not support D2D communication. The method also includes, during a first time interval when the first cell satisfies one or more criteria for the wireless device to remain camped on the first cell, monitoring at least one second carrier on a set of pre-configured radio resources for at least one of the group consisting of: a second cell that supports D2D communication, a signal from a second wireless device that supports D2D communication, and D2D communication.

The devices (14) within any given group (12) are synchronized to the same timing reference and devices (14) in different groups (12) are not synchronized to the same timing reference. A device (14) transmits direct control signaling to other devices (14) according to the timing reference of its group (12). A method in the system (10) is implemented by a radio node (16) associated with one of the groups (12). The method includes generating (110) a message that indicates, for each of one or more of the groups (12), a range of possible values for misalignment between the timing reference of that group (12) and a common timing reference. This range accounts for uncertainty in that misalignment. The method also entails transmitting (120) the message from the radio node (16).

Among the several mitigation techniques disclosed herein, a wireless device may reduce possible out-of-band interference arising from its D2D transmissions by adjusting transmit power and/or time/frequency resource allocations when it is determined that there is an interference risk. Such mitigations provide improved performance for the D2D transmissions and for the communications in the critical frequency band.
