In one embodiment, a method in accordance with the invention may include forming a query from a first set of attributes from a first database and a second set of attributes from a second database, determining, from a third database, an index value that is associated with both the first set and the second set of attributes, and outputting the index value to a user. A system in accordance with the invention may include a processor, an output device, and a memory. The memory may include at least three databases.

摘要： A system and method to reconcile Human Resource databases, including payroll, accounting, tax and travel databases, are provided. The system and method may include a database aggregation component that automatically gathers and stores a plurality of databases in a corporation business information system wherein these databases may be logically related to each other and a database reconciliation component that is capable of querying a database for retrieving data entries based on user instructions or on requests automatically generated according to preset conditions. The reconciliation method may further compare data from logically related databases. If discrepancies exist in a comparison result, the method may provide a drill-down step where data at next level of detail may be retrieved according to automatically generated queries. This reconciliation process of comparison and drill-down for more detail may continue until a preset condition is satisfied or there is no further detail to retrieve. The system may produce a report relating to the reconciliation results.

摘要： A method for operating an internal combustion engine. The latter has at least one combustion, one induction pipe, and one throttle valve. From the actual position of the throttle valve, a gas charge of the combustion chamber is defined. To improve the emissions and fuel consumption characteristics of the internal combustion engine, the minimum gas pressure is measured that exists in the induction pipe assigned to the combustion chamber at the end of the intake stroke. From this gas pressure, a value is determined which more closely approximates the actual gas charge of the combustion chamber.
