摘要： Online Social Networks (OSNs) allow users to share knowledge, opinions, interests, activities, relationships and friendships with each other. Gender classification of users of an OSN such as Twitter may be difficult to ascertain because gender is not necessarily provided. The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method for predicting gender classification of users of an OSN such as Twitter. The computer-implemented method may predict gender using five color-based features extracted from Twitter profiles such as the background color in a user's profile page. This is in contrast with most existing methods for gender prediction that are language dependent. Those methods use high-dimensional spaces consisting of unique words extracted from such text fields as postings, user names, and profile descriptions. The present method is independent of the user's language, efficient, scalable, and computationally tractable, while attaining a good level of accuracy.

摘要： An intelligent system and method for gathering social network data for an event, moderate the data, and display it to people along with analytics. The system helps event managers to see all the details posted about the event and they can control what to show to the general public. It also helps people to see what is being posted about the event and also encourages them to post. Additionally, the back end intelligence can scan through the posts and group them according to common thread and allow those to be backed up in redundant servers for forensic analysis.

摘要： Aspects of the disclosure provide a method of satellite data service. The method includes receiving a dataset of values that are measurements of a parameter at a temporal point for locations on the earth, organizing the values according to spatial layers in an aggregate spatio-temporal index system to form an aggregate tree associated with the temporal point, and updating temporal layers in the aggregate spatio-temporal index system in response to the aggregate tree. Further, the method includes receiving a query specifying the parameter, a temporal range and a spatial range, filtering, according to the aggregate spatio-temporal index system, in the temporal layers and the spatial layers to select aggregate nodes, and generating an answer to the query based on the selected aggregate nodes.
