摘要： A system for issuing a license includes a Content Issuer (CI) configured to receive a Cooperate-RORequest from a Rights Issuer (RI). The CI encapsulates, according to the information carried in the Cooperate-RORequest, content related information by using a key of a destination entity to obtain an encapsulation key, and generates a Message Authentication Code (MAC) on part of information of a license. The CI sends the generated MAC and obtained encapsulation key to the RI, so that the RI sends the license that includes the MAC and the encapsulation key to the destination entity.

The method includes: receiving a registration request for using subscription service content transmitted from a user terminal, where the registration request carries an identifier (ID) of the user terminal; determining whether the registered number of the user terminals using the subscription service content registered by a user is greater than the maximum number of the user terminals permitted to use the subscription service content according to the ID of the user terminal, and if not, activating the user terminal according to the ID of the user terminal; and providing authorization for permission of using the service content for the activated user terminal. Through the provided technical solutions, a user is capable of conveniently using the service content at different terminals while unauthorized spread of the service content is avoided during network handover of a user equipment (UE).

A method for using rights description includes obtaining the rights expression for controlling the use of digital contents, transferring the value of the rights consumption state to the corresponding parameter variable in the rights expression, executing the rights expression to obtain the remaining consumption state information of the rights, and using the digital contents according to the remaining consumption state information. The disclosure also discloses a server, a terminal device, and a DRM system. The technical solution under the present disclosure extends the rights description language without upgrading the terminal device and sets the logic relations between different rights items flexibly.
