摘要： Methods and systems for device-to-device (D2D) communication between a first device and a second device. The first device receives a communication transmitted by the second device, where the communication is intended for another recipient other than the first device. The communication provides information for the first device to determine a preferred transmit sector to be used by the second device for the D2D communication. The first device transmits a communication to the second device that provides information indentifying the preferred transmit sector to be used by the second device. As a receiver in the D2D communication, the first device receives data from the second device, transmitted on the preferred transmit sector. As a transmitter in the D2D communication, the first device transmits data to the second device on a preferred transmit sector identified in another communication received from the second device.

摘要： Methods and systems for device-to-device (D2D) communication between a first device and a second device. The first device receives a communication transmitted by the second device, where the communication is intended for another recipient other than the first device. The transmitter receives information identifying respective preferred transmission sectors for transmission from the transmitter to each receiver. The transmitter transmits a first multi-user simultaneous transmission to a first set of two or more receivers. The first set of receivers is selected for the first set by identifying that the preferred transmission sectors for transmission to the first set of receivers are included in a first virtual grouping of two or more transmission sectors. The two or more transmission sectors belonging to the first virtual grouping are defined by the transmitter.

摘要： An inkjet printer includes a printhead for printing onto a media substrate, the printhead defining a plurality of nozzles from which ink is expelled; an ink tank provided upstream of the printhead; a sump provided downstream of the printhead for collecting unused ink from the printhead, the sump having a lower portion for holding the unused ink and an upper portion defining a headspace of air above the unused ink; a first fluid conduit extending between the printhead and the sump for communicating the unused ink from the printhead to the sump, the first fluid conduit connecting the sump to a position in the printhead upstream of the plurality of nozzles; and a pump connected to the sump, the pump for drawing air from the headspace of the sump into atmosphere and effecting a negative pressure in the printhead upstream of the nozzles. Communication of ink from the ink tank to the printhead is effected by the negative pressure generated by the drawing of air from the headspace of the sump.

摘要： The present invention provides a hair styling composition comprising (a) 1% to 10% by weight of at least one polymer comprising, as polymerized units, one or more monomers having at least one acid-functional group; (b) 99% to 90% by weight of a solvent mixture comprising: (i) 5% to 100% by weight of at least one volatile organic solvent; (ii) 95% to 0% by weight of water, and (iii) 0% to 80% by weight of at least one propellant; and (c) a neutralizer, wherein the mole ratio of said neutralizer to the acid-functional groups on said polymer (a) is from 0:1 to 1.2:1, and the neutralizer comprises: (i) 10% to 30% neutralization of the acid group of the polymer by tetrabutylammonium hydroxide, and (ii) 90% to 70% neutralization of the acid group of the polymer by aminomethyl propanol. More particularly, the polymer (a) may comprise, as polymerized units, (i) 30% to 75% by weight of one or more monomer that has refractive index of 1.490 or higher, (ii) 1% to 30% by weight of one or more acid-functional monomer, and (iii) 5% to 69% by weight of one or more additional monomer. The hair styling composition of the present invention has improved clarity and humidity resistance.
