    • A solar energy system includes a reflecting unit, a heat absorber and a first solar panel. The reflecting unit having a photovoltaic cell with a first energy band gap and a reflecting surface reflects or focuses sunlight. The reflecting unit converts the sunlight with a wavelength shorter than or equal to x nm into electric energy according to the first energy band gap, and reflects or focuses the sunlight with a wavelength longer than x nm onto the heat absorber and the first solar panel. The heat absorber converts the sunlight that has a wavelength longer than or equal to y nm and is reflected by the reflecting unit into thermal energy. The first solar panel having a photovoltaic cell with a second energy band gap converts the sunlight penetrating the heat absorber and having a wavelength shorter than or equal to z nm into electric energy.

    • A solar tracking and concentration device, including a reflecting unit, a receiving unit, a controlling device, and a plurality of photo sensors, is provided. The receiving unit is used to receive the sunlight reflected and reflected by the reflecting unit. The receiving unit and the reflecting unit face each other.     • A Universal Information Code (UIC) resolves the encoding limitation associated with the known 2D bar code format. The UIC includes at least a type field and an index field. The type field indicates application type and format of other fields. The index field provides an index to access a website, categories of information, keyword of information, index or link to associated information and expansion information. The UIC further includes optionally a text description field and an authorization field. The text description field can be used to include a textual description of the website. The authorization field can be used to store password or public key. A mobile terminal device equipped with camera can fetch an image of the 2D bar code in UIC format and then extract related fields for interactive information exchange with a database.

    • A light source detection device includes first photo sensors disposed on a reference plane along a first direction and a control unit. Each first photo sensor has a first sensing surface for detecting a photo intensity of a light source to output a photo intensity signal. The first sensing surfaces are back to back or face to face. An included angle between a normal vector of one of the first sensing surfaces and a normal vector of the reference plane is equal to an included angle between a normal vector of another one of the first sensing surfaces and the normal vector of the reference plane. The normal vectors are coplanar. The control unit is adapted to receive the photo intensity signals and normalize the difference of the photo intensities of the light source sensed by the first photo sensors, so as to detect a position of the light source.

The solar panel is suitable for converting solar energy into electric energy. The orientation control device controls an orientation of the solar panel according to the position and time of the solar panel. The inclination sensing device is disposed on the solar panel for detecting an inclination direction of the solar panel. The inclination sensing device is suitable for outputting a feedback signal to the orientation control device to adjust the orientation of the solar panel. The solar tracking device has a simple tracking mechanism because of a simple feedback mechanism of the inclination sensing device.
