    • A light-emitting diode (LED) lamp which can replace a typical fluorescent lamp is provided. The LED lamp comprises external connection pins connected to terminals of an electronic or magnetic fluorescent lamp ballast, capacitors connected to each of the external connection pins, diodes connected to each of the capacitors and a LED array connected between the diodes, wherein an first external connection pin, a first capacitor, a first diode, an LED array, a second diode, a second capacitor and a second external connection pin are connected in series. The LED lamp also further comprises a diode connected in anti-parallel with a series circuit of the second diode and the LED array, and another diode connected in anti-parallel with a series circuit of the first diode and the LED array.

    • Provided is a light-emitting diode (LED) fluorescent lamp using as light sources a plurality of LEDs, which are eco-friendly and can contribute to power conservation. The LED fluorescent lamp includes an LED array including a plurality of LEDs connected in series; first through fourth connection pins; first through fourth capacitors connected to the first through fourth connection pins, respectively; a first diode having an anode connected to a second end of the first capacitor and a cathode connected to a first end of the LED array; a second diode having an anode connected to a second end of the LED array and a cathode connected to a second end of the second capacitor; a third diode having an anode connected to the second end of the LED array and a cathode connected to a second end of the third capacitor; and a fourth diode having an anode connected to a second end of the fourth capacitor and a cathode connected commonly to the first end of the LED array and the cathode of the first diode. The LED fluorescent lamp can be readily used in various types of fluorescent lamp ballasts without a requirement of the installation of additional equipment or the change of wiring.

    • Disclosed herein is a lighting device using a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL), which has reduced size and volume and concentrates light from the CCFL, thus enhancing its luminance. The lighting device includes a casing which is open on a surface thereof, thus having an open part, with an ON/OFF switch button which protrudes through a sidewall of the casing and is used to turn on or off the lighting device. A reflective plate is inserted into the casing through the open part, with a circuit board provided on a predetermined position of the reflective plate. A CCFL is inserted into the reflective plate and electrically connected to the circuit board with a cover assembled with the casing and receiving the CCFL between the casing and the cover. A socket is assembled with each end of the casing that supports both the CCFL and the cover, and is electrically connected to the circuit board.
