    • A plant watering and support device including an elongated tubular body having an open upper end, a lower end and a central portion of predetermined width located between the ends is disclosed. The open upper end and central tubular portion define a hollow cavity for receiving water added through said open upper end. In addition, the central tubular portion further defines a plurality of perforations in fluid communication with the hollow cavity and which extend through the tubular portion to allow water added to the device to exit the device through the perforations to water a plant. The device also includes at least one hollow extension section. A wide preferably heavy base is also provided for supporting the tubular body in an upright position and lowering the device's center of gravity to prevent the device from easily tipping over.

    • A watering device for potted plants with a water storage device and a water transporting line having a fiber strand which operates by capillary action includes a storage tank, a lid arrangement, a duct and a retaining device. The storage tank opens toward the top. The lid arrangement closes the storage tank in a removable manner. The duct for the water transporting line is formed on the water storage device. The retaining device protrudes downward into the storage tank in the assembled state and guides a section of the fiber strand in a bottom area of the storage tank. A fixing element for fixing the water transporting line in a tension-proof manner is provided on the lid arrangement. The fixing element is arranged on a side of the retaining device which faces away from the duct and is designed for fixing the fiber strand.

    • An apparatus is provided for unattended watering of plants over an extended period of time utilizing a watering system that regulates a partial vacuum to control the discharge of water to the roots of the plants. A water reservoir is provided having an encapsulated interior cavity and an exterior exposed to ambient air, and having upper and lower ends. The reservoir is located above the root level of a plant to be watered. At least one drain opening is defined in the lower end of the reservoir. The upper end of the reservoir is closed and is provided with an adjustable valve, preferably a pinch valve, and an air conduit, preferably a flexible tube, that passes through the valve and extends between the interior and the exterior of the reservoir. The valve thereby interacts with the conduit to partially obstruct air flow through it, so as to maintain a partial vacuum in the upper end of the reservoir as water drains from the lower end of the reservoir.
