摘要： A footwear upper comprises a front section and a rear section. The front section is at least partially forward of the rear section and at least partially defines a foot-receiving cavity. The front section has a medial edge and a lateral edge partially defining a foot entry opening. A zipper system includes a medial slider movable along the medial edge of the front section to zip the rear section to the medial edge, a medial zipper pull engaged with the medial slider, a lateral slider movable along the lateral edge of the front section to zip the rear section to the lateral edge, and a lateral zipper pull engaged with the lateral slider. A tightening system includes a lace-receiving feature on the front section forward of the zipper system, and a lace extending through the lace-receiving feature, through the medial zipper pull, and through the lateral zipper pull.

摘要： Lacing systems are disclosed for use with footwear or other articles. The lacing system can include flexible webbing lace guides. A lace guide can include a first lace guide element and a second lace guide element. The lace can pass through the first and second lace guides consecutively on the first side of the article before crossing to the opposing side of the article. The first and second lace guide elements can be angled towards each other to reduce the occurrence of sharp turns in the lace path through the lace guide elements. The lace guide can have a central portion that is less flexible than the end portions so as to reduce the occurrence of sharp turns in the lace path through the lace guide when tension is applied to the lace.

The tightening device includes keepers, a single lace having a tightening portion in a lacing path, and a blocking element having an active state for fixing a length of the tightening portion of the lace. The tightening device includes a vamp keeper provided on the vamp of the upper, as well as a tension member configured to reversibly pass the tightening portion of the lace between the lacing path and a tightening path when the blocking element is in the active state.

摘要： A shoe lacing system includes a shoelace attachment portion disposed on a tongue of the shoe lacing system between a pair of shoelace receivers, the shoelace attachment portion includes notches disposed on the shoelace attachment portion to receive and couple the shoelace. The shoe lacing system can include a pair of sliding members coupled underneath a pair of shoelace receivers that are adapted to move along a track underneath the pair of sliding members, the ends of each of the loop segments are coupled to either one of the pair of shoelace receivers or one of the pair of sliding members. The shoe lacing system can include shoelace loops that are tensioned by pulling each of the shoelace loops and crossing and coupling each of the shoelace loops to notches disposed outside of each of the pair of shoelace outlets. Additionally, a shoe lacing kit is provided that incudes at least one shoelace lacing system component, and one or more pads having piercing pins protruding from a side thereof, the one or more pads capable of securing the at lest one shoelace lacing system component to a portion of a shoe. Yet another aspect of the invention relates to a shoe lacing device, comprising a first portion and a second portion hingedly attached to the first portion, the second portion including a hook or an opening.

摘要： A lacing system having multiple anchor types, i.e., interior anchors, end anchors, and dynamically adjustable anchors, that, in combination with parallel lacing technology, provide instant and reliable fastening for shoes, boots, and other articles of manufacture. The lace is threaded and anchored so that, a single arcuate pull on the movable fastener(s) causes the multiple lace segments to move through the eyelets of the shoe, and align in unison, so that the entire shoe opening contracts (or opens wide) simultaneously. The fastener(s) can be hook and loop, ratchet buckles, adjustable buckles, or cord locks. The laces are replaceable. The adjustable opening is customizable for different width feet providing “gross” adjustment. The fastener provides “fine” adjustment. Methods and diagrams are disclosed for threading, anchoring, and customizing the lacing, as well as for indicating that the lacing is correct.

The tensioning mechanism is removably coupleable with an article without damaging the article so that upon removal, the coupling of the tensioning mechanism with the article is unrecognizable or not readily detectable. The tensioning mechanism is operable with a tension member to maintain a tension of the tension member and thereby maintain a tightness of the article. The tension member is guided along a path about the article, via one or more guide members, and is tensionable, via the tensioning mechanism, to tighten the article.

摘要： A sports boot includes a sole fixed to an upper having an ankle portion and a forefoot portion. Lateral and medial articulating cable or lace guides are provided in the upper generally between the ankle portion and the forefoot portion. Each of the cable guides define a flexible and elongate arcuate channel for guiding the cable, preferably having fluted ends. Installation panels are provided adjacent each end of the flexible channels. An intermediate installation panel extends outwardly from the arcuate channel and does not significantly interfere with flexure of the arcuate channel. Therefore, the portion of the flexible channel away from the installation panels forms a natural hinge. The channel may be configured to flex such that the spacing between the ends of the channel may vary by more than three centimeters. The upper may be provided with deep U-shaped cutouts that generally co-extend with the U-shaped cable guide.
