摘要： A cabinet for securely storing items includes a drawer enclosure, a drawer, a cover, an electric actuator, and a switch. The drawer is slidable at least partially into and out of the enclosure, and includes a compartment. A cover which is configured as a metal belt is designed to selectively block access to the compartments of the drawer when the cover is in a first configuration, and to allow access to the compartment when the cover is in a second configuration. The electric actuator is designed to move the cover from the first configuration to the second configuration in one of two directions. The actuator selects the direction to reduce the time required to make such movement.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus configured for (i) storing garments and (ii) positioning within an enclosure. The apparatus includes a carton having a plurality of compartments formed therein, the container being formed of two substantially parallel side walls, each being connectable to respective edges of two substantially parallel front and back walls, a bottom portion connectable to common edges of the side walls and the back walls. The apparatus also includes one or more middle walls configured for connecting between the sidewalls. Surfaces of each middle wall (i) are in parallel with surfaces of the front and back walls when connected between the sidewalls and (ii) form one side of two of the compartments. The container is configured for deformation only along a lengthwise direction within the enclosure, respective volumes of the plurality of compartments changing substantially simultaneously when the container deforms.

摘要： A clothing accessory organization device. The clothing accessory organization device includes a housing with a base and one or more sidewalls forming an interior volume with an open upper end. Several storage compartments are placed within the interior volume through the upper end and are sized so that the positioning of the storage compartments may be easily rearranged within the interior volume. One or more retractable J-shaped hooks are placed within the housing and designed to slide between a retracted position and an extended position. The J-shaped hooks are adapted to hang the clothing accessory organization device from a flat surface when in the extended position, such as from the top of a door. The invention may also be positioned on a horizontal surface, such as on dresser top or within a drawer. Additionally, a retractable handle is located within a sidewall for easy transportation.

摘要： A divider for a pan, drawer or the like compartment in a refrigerator is constituted by multiple, pivotally interconnected pieces which can be selectively locked in a desired position to compartmentalize the storage compartment. The divider defines an over-center device that can be snapped into a locked in a desired position in the compartment, while being locked in position as a result of compressive forces being applied by front and rear walls of the pan or drawer. That is, the pan or drawer is preferably made of plastic and includes walls which deflect upon locking the divider in place. When the divider is opened or unlatched, all compressive forces are removed and the divider can be easily adjusted within the pan or drawer.

摘要： A storage system for efficiently storing samples in tubes or bottles in an upright freezer is disclosed. A rack has at least one drawer—the drawer slides out for high accessibility. Tubes or bottles may immediately be stored or retrieved without using boxes. The drawer may be fitted with a removable top plate with at least one hole. Into the hole, an insert may be placed for stabilizing tubes of different diameter and shapes and for storing other samples such as cryo-vials and slides. More importantly, the system can be easily configured for storing tubes, bottles, boxes, or any combination thereof. In the prior art, bottles and tubes are stored in boxes which are then placed in the drawer. Moreover, bottles and tubes are stored separately. Boxes must be outfitted with cell dividers in order to store tubes, and only tubes of the same diameter can be stored in the same box.

A bottom panel, side panels, and divider panels may be configured in any combination to form a compartmented assembly with a primary compartment comprising at least two sub-compartments. A method of designing and constructing compartmented assemblies is described. A graphical user interface may be used to format a design which may be transmitted to associated machinery for automated cutting of the component panels. Series of notches, tabs, and apertures are used for mating adjacent panels to one another. Adhesive may be inserted into joints for securing the panels.
