摘要： Various systems and methods for adjusting the firmness of a mattress are described herein. Inflation elements having fingers may be coupled with a spring layer or foam layer of a mattress to provide for inflating or deflating the fingers. Increasing the fluid pressure inside the fingers increases the force required to compress the spring layer or foam layer, ultimately resulting in increasing the firmness of the mattress. Conversely, decreasing the fluid pressure inside the fingers decreases the firmness of the mattress.

摘要： A mattress including a base layer, at least one intermediary layer, and a top layer. The base layer is constructed from a foam material defining an Indentation Level Deflection (ILD) Rating from 25 to 35 pounds, and defines a thickness of between four and eight inches (4″-8″), and having a density from 1 to 4 lb/ft3. Each intermediary layer is constructed from a foam material defining an ILD Rating of between 10 and 25 and defines a thickness from 1.5″ to 3″, and having a density from ˜2 to ˜4 lb/ft3. A top layer is fabricated from a vertically-oriented synthetic memory fiber blend comprised of bi-copolymer fibers and fibers having spring-like molecular structure. The top layer defines a thickness of between 0.75″ and 1.25″ and a weight of between about 200 to about 500 grams per square yard. A cover layer may be disposed above said top layer, the cover layer being fabricated from a selected foam material, and defining a thickness of up to about one inch. A cover member configured to closely and selectively receive the various layers of the mattress may be provided. The cover member may be being provided with at least one handle for assisting in movement and transport of said mattress.

摘要： A seat pad is made of a flexible polyurethane foam, wherein when the seat pad is divided into five equal parts in a direction of a thickness and the five equal parts are termed from a first layer, to a fifth layer, starting from a front surface side, the equal parts are ranked in the following order of decreasing hardness: the fifth layer, the fourth layer, the third layer, and the second layer. The hardness of the fourth layer is set larger than the hardness of the first layer. A midportion of the seat pad that is a portion other than the front surface and an underside surface is set at a density of 45 to 55 kg/m3.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for a sofa seat cushion comprising a cushion core including a multiplicity of pocketed springs enclosed within an upholstery foam envelope. The pocketed springs are positioned side by side in a spring layer arrangement and are independently operable. A memory foam layer positioned above the upholstery foam envelope comprises a material capable of molding to a person's body sitting on the sofa seat cushion and then quickly returning to an original shape once the person leaves the sofa seat cushion. The memory foam layer comprises a gel-infused visco-elastic memory foam with a polyethylene terephthalate layer positioned there above. Directly below the upholstery foam envelope is an upholstery-grade polyurethane foam layer with a polyethylene terephthalate layer positioned directly thereunder. An exterior upholstery surrounding the cushion core provides a plush seating surface.
