摘要： A post-partum undergarment system including a brief having a pad and a compression member with a first-wing and a second-wing. The pad is integral to the brief and disposed on an inner layer of the brief in an interspace between the leg holes. The first-wing and the second-wing are configured to wrap around an abdominal region of a woman and secure the compression member in a wrapped-condition. The compression member causes direct compression to the abdominal region of the woman when the brief is worn. The brief is absorbent and disposable for use in postpartum stages.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be used as components of absorbent articles. In particular, discrete mechanical bonds are applied to a first substrate and a second substrate to secure elastic strands therebetween, wherein the discrete bonds are arranged intermittently along the machine direction. During the bonding process, heat and pressure are applied to the first substrate and the second substrate such that malleable materials of the first and second substrates deform to completely surround an outer perimeter of a discrete length of the stretched elastic strand. After removing the heat and pressure from the first and second substrates, the malleable materials harden to define a bond conforming with a cross sectional shape defined by the outer perimeter of the stretched elastic strand.

In one embodiment, the array of articles comprises a first disposable absorbent article adapted to be worn by males, and a second absorbent article adapted to be worn by females. The first pair of containment flaps differs from the second pair of containment flaps in at least one structural feature. In particular embodiments, the structural feature that differs is selected from the group consisting of flap active length, flap active-portion longitudinal position, flap tension, flap height, distal-to-distal spacing, and proximal-to-proximal spacing. In another aspect, the present invention pertains to a method of marketing gender-specific absorbent articles having gender-specific containment flaps.
